The Royal McGregor has been delighting our customers for over 10 years on the Royal Mile with our classic cuisine. This charming location is not only historic but romantic. Our recently refurbished premises blend traditional features with contemporary décor to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all ages.

We take great care in showcasing the best in Scottish produce. Everything from our Aberdeen Angus steaks, pork, poultry and fresh Seafood is carefully sourced by our head chef from the finest suppliers around the country.
Using this wonderful produce we serve uncomplicated traditional Scottish dishes with a modern twist creating menus for all tastes.

The Royal McGregor is open 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our traditional bar is a bustling, atmospheric spot to stop for a refreshment, amidst the historic Royal Mile with its intoxicating sights and sounds.

We offer an extensive selection of drinks, which means you can always find something to suit your mood, and the occasion.

Sample local cask ales which have been sourced from the many microbreweries around the country, or perhaps you would prefer one of our 50 malt whiskies from our expertly compiled list. Fine wines, spirits and continental beers along with Prosecco and Champagne are also on offer.
